Lil Rel Says R Kelly is Too Controlling

Lil Rel Says R Kelly is Too Controlling And Unpleasant

Lil Rel Says R Kelly is Too Controlling – Lil Rel has not done much to hide the fact that he disapproves of R. Kelly and finds him an unpleasant person in many ways.

And while some people had their guesses regarding the origins of the rift and were discussing their theories online quite actively, it seems like some were on the wrong track from the beginning.

According to Lil Rel himself, most of the problems he has with Kelly stem from working with him on “Trapped in the Closet.”

The actor recently decided to go into detail about the way things between the two of them have worked in the past, and he wanted to set the record straight regarding his dislike of Kelly.

Lil Rel recounts having an encounter with a dancer who was scheduled to work with R. Kelly, which left a sour taste in his mouth and led him to believe that there was more going on behind the scenes than people were aware of.

He said: “There was another stand-in, a young lady that was actually one of his background dancers too for a couple of his tours. We were just talking the whole time, getting to know each other, laughing, and having a good time. But every time she laughed, I found him just, like, staring at me. So we come back to set the next day right, and she’s not talking to us at all, right? At all!”

The comedian added: “I pulled her to the side, and I’m like ‘Yo, did I do something?’ and she was like ‘Nah, he doesn’t want me talking to y’all,’ and I was like ‘Who?’ and she’s like ‘Robert. So she didn’t talk to us the rest of the time we were filming it, and it was just, like, it was just crazy, and I remember him smirking about it.”

He also shared another incident: “I guess he wanted to meet me and he sent somebody to me, and we were all in this VIP area . . . ‘Man, I’m good,’” he said. “That’s a true story. I’m like ‘I’m good,’ and the thing about it is, it wasn’t even about the allegations with me. He was so extra like that sometimes, and I ain’t like that. Everybody knows I’m from the West Side of Chicago, and I own who I am. That’s too much, bro. Just come speak to me, fam.”

And while it took some time for the accusations to start coming out and for the truth to surface, it looks like Lil Rel had the right idea from the start, and had a good hunch about who he was working with.

Kelly has not discussed his involvement with Lil Rel for the most part, although he has also not done much to deny some of the accusations that have been thrown his way from that direction.
